We went to the kite festival at Sun River Golf Course on Saturday. Anna has been keeping track of her reading and was able to get a free kite. There were a ton of people there and at least 200 kites in the air. We tried flying Anna's for awhile, but gave up in the end because it was way windy and we kept hitting other people with her kite! We moved onto the rides and had a treat.

I have to say it.... is that a disney character T-shirt Anna is wearing??!! Oh for shame Jules.... lol.....
We tried the kite festival too this year - but how often can you say it was too windy to fly a kite - that wind was nuts! Anyway, sad we missed you...but fishing days are ahead, so we will drop by soon!
