Hanging at the park

The weather has been so nice lately, so we decided to take the girls to the park today. But of course, today was a bit on the chilly side. It was still quite fun. We've been living in St. George for almost 5 years now and this was the first time that Paul came with us to this particular park. The girls kept daddy busy on the swings, slide and more. It was a fun day. Afterwards we came home for a movie and some hot coco with marshmallows. Yummy! Posted by Picasa

Knock Knock....

I took these pictures of Anna and Lainie today. They were cracking up, telling each other knock knock jokes. For example, knock knock...whose there? Watermelon. Watermelon who? Watermelon tree. Don't ask me why that's funny, but it certainly was to them.

Withstanding the FACE...

This is Lainie's typical sad face when she isn't getting her way. A face she does well and usually gets her way with, that is, with everyone else besides me. This particular sad face was given to me when her request for fruit snacks was denied.

I love you Lainie Grace. Posted by Picasa

Old Pals

It was fun for the boys to be able to see each other again. For those of you who don't know the story...these three brought Paul and I together. It all had to do with a tandem bike. Posted by Picasa

So much Fun

This is our very first trip as a family to Disneyland and the girls loved it. All but one of my siblings met us there and it was so fun to see cousins we haven't seen for almost a year. While I waited in line for the Princess Fan Fair to open, Paul took Anna on her very first ride...Space Mountain! So scary for her very first experience at Disneyland. She, of course, hated it, but was excited to try out everything else. If you ask her which rides she liked she'll tell you that she liked everything but the space ride. Her favorites were Pirates and Buzz Lightyear.

Lainie couldn't go on any of the big rides, but enjoyed everything in Toon Town and it actually surprised me how much she and Ava could go on. She loved meeting all the disney characters. Her least favorite of the day had to be the 3D show we watched. There was a scary snake in it and she freaked out when it hissed at her.
We had fun exploring the entire place. I'm sure we'll have to go back at least once a year now. It was a good time for all. Posted by Picasa

Princesses

The first thing we did when we got to disneyland is go to the Princess Fan Fair where we took pictures with the princesses and made princess crowns. A dream come true for my ladies.
Lainie adores Belle.
Cinderella is Anna's favorite.

Arriving to Disneyland

We got a new double stoller 2 days before we left. The girls loved the ride.
Anna could hardly contain her excitement.

Playing with Daddy

Hanging out at Home

Ava sitting happy in her carseat.
Anna-dying laughing at dinner because she's making a toot sound when she puts her hand in her armpit. Paul seems to think that she's our boy.
Lainie: She refuses to use a booster seat and sits quite short at the kitchen table.
Daddy, home from work...missing his girls.

Ready, Set, Jump

Since we bought our new bedroom set, we no longer have space in our room for our LoveSac. It's taken up residence in our living room until we can find a suitable place for it. The girls love to jump on it. Everyday they pull up a stool and jump off of it onto the LoveSac. Here are a few shots of Lainie finding the courage to jump off of it. She stood in the crouched position, ready to jump for several minutes before she jumped the first time. Once she did it her fears were gone. What a stinker! Posted by Picasa

Crazy Lady

Anna is so animated. She makes the silliest faces all the time. She's really into impersonating her friends right now. She is always showing me what kind of faces they make. Here are a few of them...along with a picture of her trying to be as ladylike as possible.

Happy Halloween

All my ladies...dressed and ready to go out and get some candy!Anna showed me a cheer she was working on just before we left. Go TEAM!
Anna is such a great big sister and helped Lainie across the street.
Lainie had initially wanted to be a princess for Halloween, but soon after decided that she would rather be a butterfly. I had already purchased her princess outfit, so we left the hat at home and purchased some wings.
