Gathering the Loot

Halloween evening we headed to a Trunk or Treat/Chili cook-off for a bit. It's always nice to have a meal cooked for you. The girls got loads of candy. We actually went home emptied their buckets and then headed over to a friends house where there were about 40 kids on 2 trailers ready to go street to street. And of course, they got filled again. It was a very fun night. Lucky for us it was Nevada Day so Paul got the day off and was able to be there.

Halloween Parade/Party

Halloween morning I took Anna to school and shortly after school started all the kids came out in parade form to show the parents their stuff. Afterward I helped out with the party in her class. Ava helped too...stealing candy/popcorn from all the kids in the class.

We carved our pumpkins Sunday night together. Our wonderful neighbors, the Mandells, grew them in their garden and let the girls each pick one. Thank you.

Soccer

I finally remembered to bring my camera with me to Anna's soccer game this week. I was less than impressed with most of the photos though. These I thought were cute-one of Anna's silly face after she had orange slices at half time and one of the team...the blond bombshells...giving the other team a cheer. Our girls are undefeated thus far and I'm pretty sure no one will beat them. Anna loves it. I don't know much about the rules of the game, but everyone keeps telling me that Anna is a great sweeper. I have no idea what that means. She is #5.

Bringing it back...

Photobucket

Photobucket

I'm completely embarrassed to post this picture of myself in spandex. Sweet...I know. I went to a Halloween party tonight and decided to go 80's for it. My date...Marla Kirby was the old woman...a very sexy old woman. Paul showed up a little later in the evening. He came straight from the academy...thus no costume.

I decided to enter Lainie into a little modeling contest since everyone is always commenting on her beauty. I've been meaning to snap some more pics of her, but have run out of time. So my question for you is...which of these photos do her justice if any? I'm thinking of going with B or maybe D, but I don't really like the way she's pursing her lips in B and I don't really enjoy the lighting in D. What do you think?

Saying goodbye to Daddy

Photobucket

A shot of the girls saying goodbye to Paul this morning for the week. Please note his new academy haircut. I'm not in love with it. I so much prefer his metro look. Anyway...guess I won't be taking a family picture this year unless I can find a good hat.

All the ladies and I haven't been feeling great this week, but by Saturday we'd had enough of our house and ventured out to the park to get some fresh air.

The real reason....

So I've been a complete slacker when it comes to most things these days, ie. getting out of my pjs, caring for my sweet kiddos, cleaning my house, and blogging among other things. I've been so tired, finicky about what I'm eating, and feeling a bit like I'm getting a muffin top. I'm feeling better the past few days and today I heard the babies heartbeat again so I am now prepared to announce that we are expecting #4 the beginning of April. Paul should be living at home again sometime around my 37th week. Sweet.
