Away we go...

We leave tomorrow morning for our big trip to Washington. It's kind of a last minute thing and we are ready for the adventure. Paul was going to be heading there for business and instead of being lonely for a few weeks, we decided to join him. Although the actual driving doesn't sound fun, the time with Paul does. I don't know that I'll be posting many pictures until we get back. I have forgotten my login and can only post through Picasa at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out so that I can keep posting throughout our trip. It should be fun.

Lake Preslan-Aldridge

So I came home from church today and went into the house through the garage and went about my business. A wee bit later a neighbor called that drove by and asked me if I was aware that I had a water fountain in my yard. (I was not.) So I run outside and see my new lake, and the fountain. (Caused by the water spicket breaking, lower right corner.) And of course, Paul is still out of town on business so he couldn't fix it. Dang it! So I'm at a loss and have no idea how to correct the situation, when my next door neighbor comes over and 2 cars pull up with help. They turned off the spinkler main and all is well. I'm just hoping that the water wasn't on the entire 3 1/2 hours I was gone. I guess my next water bill will let me know. I am just super thankful for great friends and neighbors who helped us out in our time of need. Thanks.

Her are all the ladies, hanging out. Ava is starting to sit up pretty well and the other girls were getting a kick out of her today, so I snapped a shot. 

PJ Day

Paul left for Indianapolis last night for 10 days. We are so sad to be without him for so long, but I'm sure time will go quickly. When he is gone on business, I often find myself hanging out in jammies all day. So today it's cold outside and we aren't going anywhere, so we decided to spend the day in our pj's.
