Birthday Party

This year we opted for a joint birthday party for Anna and Lainie since their birthdays are only 10 days apart and they have a lot of the same friends. I explored many options for locations, but in the end decided on our house simply because we invited 20 friends and I wasn't interested in being responsible for so many little ones in a public place. They played a few games, hit a pinata, had their faces painted, and jumped in the bounce house to their hearts content. Lots of white trash nachos, candy, and cake later, I am left with a house full of beaten up party decor and way too many presents. And though it will take me all day tomorrow to get my house back into an orderly state...it was all worth it when Anna said to me, "I wish it was my birthday everyday, today was a good day."

why do nachos and cany have to be white trash? I love that kind of stuff. Good times.

I was just talking about the nachos...you know the kind that you get at gas stations. Love those!

Julia, that was such a fun party, even for us parent who got to take part in the "white trash" food. We loved it. I envy you SO much as a mother. You are soooo patient and loving to your girls *and ALL their insanly wild, loud & obnoxious friends*. You are AMAZING and I love you for your example of a WONDERFUL, FUN MOM!
