Owen has been obsessed with going super fast on this little car for as long as I can remember. He loves this thing. So much in fact that his poor shoes have worn down to his toes.

Weekend in Vegas

My sweet sister in law was in Vegas all week for work. She extended her trip and Jen and I went for the weekend.

Same shirt...the next day. This kid is sick. Besides the massive amounts of snot coming out of his nose, I really like that he has one of my hairs stuck to his head.

Not babies anymore.

Happy Birthday to my sick babies. We spent the entire day talking about, looking at photos, and playing videos of their birth and when they were teeny tiny babes. They couldn't believe they were ever that tiny. They thought it was fun, and it was, it just made me a little sad that they are so big and grown now. 3-I can't believe it.

Owen and Lily just woken up to eat their birthday pancake.


We had a little party for them in the evening...half Dora, half Cars, just like they requested.
Lily blew out her candles fairly easily.

It took Owen awhile though. Paul ended up having to point his head in the right direction. It ended with spit all over the cake. Delicious.

St. Patrick's Day

Loved having a full day of eating green items and spending time with great friends at the park.

In the afternoon, while I was at the store, Paul caught this little moment on his phone. Apparently, Owen and Lily were outside with Paul when Lily said, "Daddy, I'm cold." Owen looked at her with his arms open and said, "Come here Lily, I'll keep you warm." Then gave her a big squeeze. Love the bond these two have. So sweet.

Stitches

Last monday, on our way back from the bus stop, Owen tripped and landed head first on the sharpest rock ever. It was a perfect slice, just big enough that I wondered if he needed stitches. Turns out, he did.
All tuckered out on the way home.


Daddy took out the stitches yesterday.


Owen thought they were pretty cool.
